What material are INOXMETALL products made of?
Our garden showers and stainless steel objects are made of solid, brushed stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A). We also make some objects in Corten steel.
Where are the products made?
In our workshop at Landstrasse 95 in Etzgen (AG). We have been designing, welding and grinding there since 2012.
How is delivery made and what does shipping cost?
We deliver within Switzerland. Garden showers and larger products are usually delivered by freight forwarder to the kerbside; shipping costs start at CHF 99 and are shown at checkout. Smaller accessories and spare parts are sent by parcel post. By appointment you can collect your order free of charge in Etzgen.
How long does delivery take?
That depends on the product and version. For configured or custom made products, you will receive the delivery date with the order confirmation.
Can I return an order?
Configured and custom made products are excluded from exchange. We will take back unused standard and stock items by prior written agreement. You will find the details in our terms on the right of withdrawal.
What water connection does the garden shower have?
A visible connection (e.g. GARDENA®) at the back or side is possible, or a concealed standard connection with a 1/2 inch braided hose or Sanipex 16 mm through the flange plate.
Are normal garden paving slabs enough as a base?
No. The shower needs a stable, solid base: our floor platform, a concrete point foundation or a screw foundation. The position of the supply pipe should be planned in advance.
Can the shower also be mounted on a wall?
Yes. The standard is floor mounting with a flange plate. For wall mounting, we weld stainless steel brackets to the profile.
Can I combine components such as tap, hand shower or shower head?
Yes, all shower components can be combined freely. Custom sizes and one-off designs are also possible.
Who installs the shower?
Depending on the distance, installation by a plumber near you is usually the most economical option, and we can deliver directly to them on request. By arrangement, we also deliver and install ourselves.
Do I have to dismantle the garden shower in winter?
No. Our stainless steel garden showers can stay outdoors over the winter without any problems. Important: turn off the water, drain the pipes completely and leave the mixer in the open position. With the optional automatic drainage (GS01), you can use the shower in winter too.
Do you also have solar showers?
No, deliberately not. With the solar showers currently available, there is a risk of legionella growth. Our showers are built so that only a little water remains in the system.
Do I need a building permit for my privacy screen?
That depends on your situation and the regulations of your municipality. Please check with the local building authority in advance. You will find the most important basics in our guide.
Will the stone filling turn grey or mossy over time?
No. We only use granite or marble chippings, which hardly absorb any dirt. The baskets are only 4.5 cm deep, so no moisture stays in the core and moss has nothing to grow on.
What are the dimensions of a privacy screen element?
As a rule 120 cm clear width without posts, posts 6 × 6 cm, centre distance 132 cm. We make the height to your requirements.
What foundation does a privacy screen need?
Either concrete point foundations (40 × 40 cm, at least 60 cm deep) or our steel screw foundations, with no concrete, no digging and ready to take loads immediately.
Which designs can you laser cut?
Any design: from our selection, based on your idea, a hand sketch or a photo. We visualise the motif before production.
What warranty applies to the garden showers?
We give a 10 year warranty on the stainless steel construction of the GS01 and GS02 garden showers. This excludes mechanical parts such as mixers, cartridges, valves, seals and hoses, as well as damage caused by improper use, for example frost damage. A 2 year warranty applies to all other products. The details are in our terms and conditions.
