Foundations & installation for garden showers and privacy screens

Know-how from the workshop

The right base

Ordinary garden paving slabs are not enough to fix a garden shower or privacy screen securely. You need a stable, solid base. The options are:

  • Floor platform for the garden shower: freestanding, no foundation needed.
  • Concrete pad foundation: area 40 × 40 cm, depth at least 60 cm (frost depth).
  • Ground screw made of steel: no concrete at all.

Plan the position of the water supply pipe right from the start.

Advantages of the ground screw

  • Can take loads immediately, no waiting for concrete to dry.
  • Reusable: can be removed and used somewhere else.
  • No excavation, no earthworks, the garden stays intact.
  • Less concrete means less CO₂ and protects soil life.

Technical data: nominal length 1250 mm, tube Ø 76.1 mm, weight 7.5 kg, load capacity 25 kN, flange 189 × 140 × 15 mm.

Water connection for the garden shower

Options are a visible connection (e.g. GARDENA®) at the back or side, or a concealed standard connection with a 1/2 inch braided hose or Sanipex 16 mm through the flange plate.

Wall mounting

As standard, the shower is mounted on the ground with a flange plate. On request, we weld stainless steel brackets to the profile so that it can be fixed securely to a wall.

Delivery & installation

We deliver by freight carrier to you or to your plumber. Depending on the distance, installation by a plumber near you may work out cheaper. By arrangement, we can also deliver and install it ourselves.

Privacy screen dimensions

Our privacy screen walls usually have a clear width of 120 cm between the posts. The posts measure 6 × 6 cm and the centre-to-centre distance is 132 cm. We make the height to your requirements.
