Automatic drain for garden shower GS01

After showering, one press of a button is all it takes: the valves switch over automatically and the water drains from the shower column in a controlled way. The GS01 garden shower stays ready for use all year round, even at sub-zero temperatures, without trace heating and without dismantling in autumn. The automatic drain is available for the stainless steel GS01 and for the GS01 Corten.

Ideal for anyone who wants to shower outdoors after the pool, sauna or hot tub, even in winter. The automatic drain is available exclusively from INOXMETALL (protected).

How it works

• Push button with LED ring on the shower column: LED on = shower ready for use, water pressure present. LED off = pipes drained automatically.
• When there is no power, the valves are always set to drain/return. The single-lever mixer stays open in the middle position over the winter.
• Connections through the base plate: braided hose for hot water (marked red), braided hose for cold water and, in the centre, the 3-pin plug connection for the control unit.

• Shower column with push button (LED ring)
• Two motorised valves with T-piece for hot and cold water, drain/return
• 12 V control unit with 230 V power supply, control cable with connector

Requirements

• 2 water pipes (hot/cold) and 1 empty conduit to the shower
• Plant room up to approx. 20 m away, pipes with a continuous fall
• Drain to the outside (soakaway) or into a drain with a trap
• No compressed air needed
• Installation by a qualified professional
