Description

In detail.

Solid wood block (beech, 30 × 30 × 45 cm)

A timeless, powerful piece of furniture made from solid, untreated beech wood.

Thanks to its reassuring weight, the block stands very firmly and can be used in many ways, for example as a seat, a side table or a simple plinth for displaying special objects.

Character and appearance
The wood is gently dried, which preserves its natural, lively character.
Small cracks may inevitably appear in the process.
They are intentional and make each piece unique.
Depending on the cut and the tree, beech can also show slightly different shades of colour, sometimes with a subtle reddish-brown core, giving the piece an individual, high-quality look.

Surface and finish
The block is supplied untreated, giving you complete freedom of design:
• with varnish for a clean, sealed look
• with oil for warm, natural depth
• with wax for a soft, velvety surface

Each treatment emphasises different facets of the wood grain and makes the piece either more striking or more understated.

Areas of use
• High-end living spaces, minimalist interiors or loft areas
• Exhibition spaces or galleries, to display art or design objects to great effect
• Practical alternative seating in living areas, on terraces or in the conservatory

Advantages at a glance
• Solid wood for lasting, stable use
• Natural and individual appearance
• Versatile as a seat, table or plinth
• Freedom of design through different surface treatments

This solid wood block is more than a simple piece of furniture.
It is a purist statement that makes its impact through natural material, form and weight,
whether standing alone or as part of a deliberately minimal interior.
